FC Nõmme United have announced the departure of first-team head coach Slawomir Cisakowski following Saturday’s 0-1 Premium Liiga defeat away to Pärnu Vaprus.

Cisakowski had been in charge since the beginning of 2025 and led United to the Esiliiga title last season, securing promotion back to the Estonian top flight.

The club said the decision was made because results this season had not matched their sporting goals and ambitions.

“We thank Slawomir for his contribution to Nõmme United. His knowledge, experience and work ethic have helped develop both our team and many of our coaches and other people connected with the club,” CEO Martin Klasen said. “We greatly appreciate his contribution and wish him every success in the future.”

The defeat to Vaprus on September 5 proved to be Cisakowski’s final match in charge.

Nõmme United currently sit ninth in the Premium Liiga with 25 points from 26 matches. The club said it will announce its new head coach as soon as possible.
