A Lyga side FK Panevėžys has officially announced the departure of their leading goal scorer, Pavle Radunovic. The 29-year-old Serbian striker will continue his career at another, undisclosed club.
Radunovic joined Panevėžys midway through last season, arriving from Serbian second-division side FK Mačva Šabac. During the tail end of the 2024 campaign, he made eight appearances and scored two goals—both coming in a matchday 35 victory over defending champions FK Žalgiris.
This season, Radunovic hit the ground running. After missing the first two rounds of the league, he returned in the third round clash against FK Sūduva, netting both goals to secure Panevėžys’ first win of the season. He continued his fine form, scoring six goals in his first eleven appearances, which placed him among the league’s top scorers for a significant stretch of the campaign. In total, he finished with six goals and two assists in 16 matches.
Although Panevėžys has not yet revealed where Radunovic will be heading next, the club expressed gratitude for his professionalism and contributions, wishing him all the best in the next chapter of his career.
