Latvian Champions FC RFS have announced the signing of talented Serbian midfielder Strahinja Rakić for an undisclosed transfer fee. The 19-year-old, who represents Serbia’s U21 national team, has signed a long-term contract keeping him at the club until the end of the 2028 season, with an option to extend for an additional year.

A product of Serbian club Jedinstvo, Rakić made his senior debut in Serbia’s second tier in 2023 at just 17 years old, regularly coming off the bench while also featuring in youth competitions.

Last season, he helped Jedinstvo secure promotion to the Serbian SuperLiga and established himself as a key first-team player, making 29 appearances and scoring two goals. Towards the end of the season, he was also named team captain.

Internationally, Rakić has earned seven caps for Serbia’s U19 side and made his debut for the U21 team earlier this year, coming on as a substitute in a match against Greece.
