Latvia women’s international forward Santa Sanija Vuškāne has completed a move to Icelandic club Grindavík/Njarðvík on a deal running until 2028, the club has announced.
The 20-year-old arrives after 18 months in Poland with GKS Katowice, where she won the league title last season and lifted the Polish Cup in 2026.
Grindavík/Njarðvík sit sixth in the 10-team table after 11 rounds of the current campaign.
Vuškāne previously played in Latvia for Metta and RFS, finishing as the Women’s Football League’s top scorer in 2024, and earlier represented Iecava/DFS.
She has scored one goal in 19 appearances for the Latvia senior side.
