Estonia full-back Michael Schjönning-Larsen provided an assist as Kilmarnock beat Dundee FC 3-1 to make sure they will be playing Scottish Premiership football again next season.

The visitors thought they had struck first in the 22nd minute, but the effort was ruled out for offside after a VAR check. Kilmarnock eventually took control after the break, opening the scoring in 62nd minute from a move that concluded from Schjönning-Larsen’s set-up.

Dundee’s problems deepened when Tom Lowery, who had scored Kilmarnock’s first, turned the ball into his own net. Dundee reduced the deficit from the penalty spot in the 85th minute, but Kilmarnock wrapped up the win in stoppage time.

Schjönning-Larsen started and was substituted out in the 87th minute. The result leaves Kilmarnock four points clear of the nearest side below them with one round remaining, confirming safety.
