Lithuanian international Gytis Paulauskas played the full 90 minutes for the first time since joining Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, as his side played a goalless 0-0 draw against K League leaders Seoul in a top-of-the-table clash.
The 26-year-old striker scored his first goal in South Korea last weekend in Jeonbuk’s 2-0 away victory over Pohang and retained his place in the starting lineup for a third consecutive match as the title contenders hosted the league leaders.
Neither side managed to break the deadlock in a closely contested encounter, with the match finishing 0-0. It marked Paulauskas’ fifth appearance since arriving on loan from fellow K League club Jeju SK and his first full match, as he remained on the pitch for all 90 minutes.
Across spells with both Jeju SK and Jeonbuk this season, the Lithuanian has now made 12 K League appearances, registering one goal and one assist.
Paulauskas’ next outing could come against his parent club, with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors set to host Jeju SK next Saturday.
The draw leaves Seoul comfortably top of the K League standings with 43 points from 21 matches, while second-placed Jeonbuk remain nine points behind, having played the same number of games.
