Leevon PPK extended their winning run to seven matches with a 3-0 victory over Tukums 2000 reserves in Latvia’s second tier on Sunday. The result moved them to 45 points from 19 matches, three behind leaders Valmiera and Metta.

The visitors took the lead in the 18th minute when Dāvis Cālbergs turned the ball into his own net. Rūdolfs Muižnieks doubled the advantage 10 minutes later before completing his brace in the 66th minute. Sho Saito and Marks Kurtišs provided the assists for the experienced midfielder’s goals.

Leevon PPK remain firmly in contention for promotion, despite losing their first-round meetings with Metta and Valmiera 1-3 and 1-4 respectively. Their next fixture is away to Riga FC reserves in Mežaparks next Sunday.
