Harju JK Laagri returned to winning ways in Premium Liiga Matchday 14, comfortably defeating JK Narva Trans 3-0 at Laagri Arena and ending a difficult four-match losing streak.

The victory allows Harju to move closer to fourth-placed Paide Linnameeskond, while Narva Trans continue their inconsistent run despite defeating Paide in the previous round.

The home side started brighter and looked dangerous already in the opening minutes. Andres Järve and Kristjan Kriis twice threatened early on, while Daniil Rudenko also tested the Narva defence as Harju controlled the opening phase of the match.

Narva slowly grew into the game and began finding more possession, but Harju goalkeeper Vainula was rarely seriously troubled throughout the afternoon.

Harju created the first major chance midway through the half when Ivanyushin blocked Rudenko’s effort before the rebound fell kindly for Eerme, whose close-range shot was brilliantly denied by Trans goalkeeper Pareiko.

The breakthrough finally arrived in the 35th minute. Binate produced excellent work in midfield before slipping a through ball into the path of Eerme, who cut inside and calmly finished into the corner to make it 1-0.

Trans tried responding before halftime through set pieces and crosses, but Harju defended comfortably and went into the break with a deserved advantage.

The second half saw Narva Trans enjoy more territorial control, though clear opportunities remained limited. Harju largely defended compactly while continuing to threaten on transitions.

The hosts doubled their lead in the 64th minute after another strong involvement from Eerme. The forward won a free-kick on the left side before Rudenko delivered a dangerous ball into the six-yard box, where Eerme himself arrived to redirect the ball into the net for his second goal of the afternoon.

Narva continued pushing possession forward but lacked sharpness in the final third. Agaptšev came closest late on with a header that forced an excellent save from Vainula, but Harju never truly looked close to losing control of the match.

The result was sealed in stoppage time. Substitute Ramol Sillamaa produced excellent individual work inside the penalty area, beating several defenders before cutting the ball back for Kelement, who finished from close range to complete the 3-0 victory.

Despite Trans finishing with slightly more possession and shots overall, Harju looked the more clinical and dangerous side throughout the encounter.
