FC Džiugas Telšiai has announced the signing of Tunisian midfielder Fraj Kayramani. The 26-year-old attacking midfielder played in Latvia for the past two seasons.

Kayramani is the latest former Virslīga player to join the Lithuanian A Lyga this offseason. Last season, he joined FK Liepāja but was released after just half a season, making 18 appearances without contributing any goals or assists.

The previous season told a different story for the 26-year-old. After nearly five seasons as a rotation player in the Tunisian top-flight with one of the country’s most decorated clubs, Étoile Sportive du Sahel, and a loan spell at CS-Hammam Lif, he decided to move to Europe and joined Valmiera FC.

After winning the Virslīga title the season before, Valmiera lost several key players, and Kayramani was brought in with the expectation that he would contribute from day one. In his single season at Valmiera, he had some notable moments, scoring twice and assisting seven times in 38 appearances across all competitions.

Now, Kayramani is set to begin his journey in Lithuania. FC Džiugas has been active in the Latvian market, signing former FK Metta Ukrainian winger Oleksandr Kurtsev and defender Oleksandr Chernozub on loan from FK Liepāja this offseason.

FC Džiugas Telšiai will kick off their A Lyga campaign on March 2nd, traveling to Vilnius to face the defending champions, FK Žalgiris.
