Damjan Pavlović, who has represented FK Kauno Žalgiris for the past year and a half, is set to continue his career abroad. The Lithuanian champions and French Ligue 2 club Rodez have reached an agreement on the terms of the midfielder’s transfer.
The Belgian-Serbian central midfielder joined Kauno Žalgiris ahead of the 2025 season and played a key role in helping the club secure the Lithuanian championship in his debut campaign. At the start of 2026, he also lifted the LFF Super Cup and was named the MVP of the final.
“We have been very active during the summer transfer window, and Damjan’s departure is part of that process. He arrived in Lithuania with clear ambitions, achieved the goals he set for himself, and earned the opportunity to take the next step in his career. After receiving an offer from France, the club agreed to the transfer,” said Kauno Žalgiris Sporting Director Darius Šinkūnas.
During his time with Kauno Žalgiris, Pavlović made 56 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing 10 assists.
FK Kauno Žalgiris would like to thank Damjan Pavlović for his commitment and contributions to the club over the past year and a half, and wishes him every success in the next chapter of his career.
