Italian club Cremonese have announced that they have exercised their option to sign Lithuanian youth international Adrian Lickūnas on a permanent deal from fellow Italian side Perugia.

The 20-year-old winger spent the 2025/26 season on loan within the Cremonese system, making 30 appearances for the club’s Primavera 1 side. During that time, he scored two goals and provided three assists. Lickūnas was also included in the senior squad for Cremonese’s opening Serie A match of the season, although he remained an unused substitute.

The Lithuanian has been playing in Italy since 2022, when he joined Perugia from Baltijos Futbolo Akademija. Lickūnas, who turned 20 in March, has also represented Lithuania at Under-21 level, making four appearances for the national team.

Cremonese returned to Serie A last season after a two-year absence, but were unable to retain their place in the Italian top flight and will compete in Serie B during the upcoming campaign.
