All qualifying Latvian clubs awarded UEFA licences for 2026-27, Daugavpils in reserve

Latvian Football Federation (LFF) club licensing officials have confirmed the recipients of UEFA licences for the 2026-27 European club competitions.

Riga FC have been granted a UEFA licence for the Champions League, while RFS, Liepāja and Auda have been licensed for participation in the UEFA Conference League. Daugavpils have been awarded a licence in reserve status.

The LFF said Latvia’s champions Riga FC will enter the Champions League qualifying campaign from the first qualifying round. Their coefficient assures that they will be among the seeded sides. In the Conference League, RFS and Liepāja are set to begin from the first qualifying round as well, while Latvian Cup holders Auda are due to start from the second qualifying round.

The draws for the first and second qualifying rounds are scheduled for 16th and 17th of June.

The licensing body also awarded Riga FC Women a UEFA licence for the Women’s Champions League. The Latvian women champions will start in the first qualifying round, with the draw due to take place on 18th June.
