In today’s Premium Liiga Matchday 4, FC Flora Tallinn achieved an impressive 5-0 victory over FC Kuressaare, with four of their goals scored in the second half. Notably, two of the goals were netted by promising young players Sander Alamaa and Nikita Kalmokov, who both celebrated their first professional goals.

After the previous league win against Tallinna Kalev, FC Flora manager Konstantin Vassiljev decided to field the same starting lineup. In contrast, Kuressaare manager Post gave a first start of the season to 19-year-old Sten Prunn, a former Flora player.

Vassiljev’s decision to maintain the lineup paid off early when, in the second minute, Danil Kuraksin attempted to cross the ball into the box from the left side. His pass surprised the goalkeeper, going over him and into the goal, marking Kuraksin’s second goal in consecutive games.

Flora continued to apply pressure throughout the first half, while Kuressaare also created some counter-attack chances. However, both goalkeepers performed admirably, resulting in a scoreless first half.

Everything changed in the second half, as Flora scored twice within a four-minute span, with Estonian internationals Rauno Sappinen and Markus Poom each finding the net for the second straight league game.

In the 77th minute, substitute Sander Alamaa, a talented 17-year-old, scored his first professional goal with a header. Danil Kuraksin, who had an outstanding game with one goal and two assists, set up the goal.

The final goal was delivered by another promising young talent, Nikita Kalmokov. The 16-year-old marked his Flora debut with a well-placed header after being assisted by teenager Maksim Kalimullin, bringing the score to 5-0.

With this victory, FC Flora Tallinn climbs to second place in the league table with seven points, showing improvement after a shaky start under Vassiljev. Meanwhile, Kuressaare remains with only one win after four league matches.

FC Flora’s next league match is scheduled for next Saturday. They will travel to Nomme to face the local side, Nomme Kalju. On the same day, Kuressaare will also be seeking to end their losing streak against Tallinna Kalev.
