As the TOPsport A Lyga opening match approaches on February 28, FK Kauno Žalgiris held a press conference to outline their goals for the upcoming 2025 season and present the team’s budget.
The event, attended by club president Mantas Kalnietis and head coach Eivinas Černiauskas, provided insights into the club’s financial standing and ambitions for the new campaign.
Before discussing financial matters and season objectives, Kalnietis expressed his delight in extending the partnership with TOPsport, the club’s general sponsor, for another three years. During the press conference, TOPsport director Dainius Gulbinas was presented with a new Puma FK Kauno Žalgiris jersey as a token of appreciation.
For the 2025 season, the Kaunas-based club plans to surpass a budget of €3 million, sourced from sponsorships, advertising revenue, ticket sales, funding from Kaunas city municipality, football-related activities, and UEFA contributions.
