The promoted A Lyga side FK Riteriai has announced that they have signed a contract with Haitian goalkeeper Garissone Innocent.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper is a product of the PSG academy. Although he spent seven years with the team, he never made a first-team debut, but he was on the bench for PSG during their UEFA Champions League semifinal win against RB Leipzig with a score of 3-0 in the 2019/2020 season. PSG ultimately lost the final 0-1 to Bayern Munich.
For the past two and a half years, Garissone has been with Belgian side KAS Eupen, where he did not make a first-team appearance.
The 1.92-meter tall goalkeeper, who has made two appearances for the Haitian national team, is now moving to Lithuania to take on the starting goalkeeper role as he joins FK Riteriai. Riteriai lost their previous starting goalkeeper, Armantas Vitkauskas, this offseason, as he moved to the Lithuanian Cup winners FK Banga Gargždai.
FK Riteriai’s opening game in the A Lyga is on March 1, when they will host FK Sūduva.
