SK Super Nova has officially announced the signing of experienced 33-year-old center-back Mārcis Ošs.

The seasoned defender began his professional career with FK Jelgava, where he played several seasons in the Latvian Virslīga before making a move to Poland. There, he had a brief stint with Gornik Zabrze, appearing in nine matches.

Following his time in Poland, Ošs returned to FK Jelgava for a few more seasons before moving to FK Spartaks Jūrmala. His career then took him to Switzerland, where he spent three seasons in the Swiss Super League, representing Neuchâtel Xamax and FC Lugano.

In 2022, Ošs returned to Latvia, rejoining FK Spartaks Jūrmala before signing with FC RFS for two seasons. However, his playing time with RFS was limited. Now, he is set to bring his experience and leadership to SK Super Nova, where he is expected to play a significant role both on and off the field.

On the international stage, Mārcis Ošs has earned 27 caps for the Latvian national team, with a notable highlight being his goal in Latvia’s 1-0 victory against Austria.
