Sławomir Cisakowski, who took FK Riteriai back into A Lyga last season, is set to be announced as the new manager of Nõmme United.
Esiliiga side Nõmme United are set to announce Sławomir Cisakowski as their new manager, according to Soccernet.ee and Baltycki Futbol portals. Cisakowski, who previously coached Lithuanian side FK Riteriai as they fought back into the Lithuanian top flight after a season in the second division, is moving to Estonia in an attempt to make it two for two, as Nõmme United prepare to mount their 2025 campaign to return to the Premium liiga.
Sławomir Cisakowski (38) is a Polish specialist with a short, albeit diverse CV. Having coach Everton Youth in 2016, he has since made his managerial debut with City of Lusakha FC in Zambia before moving to Lithuania to take the newly relegated FK Riteriai back into A Lyga in the space of a single season.
Riteriai and Nõmme United club concepts share a few things in common, emphasis on their own academies and youth development being the most obvious similarities. Whether this will be enough for Cisakowski to repeat his success in Lithuania and return Nõmme United to the top flight remains to be seen.
Nõmme United are yet to officially announce Cisakowski as their new manager.
