Bourama Fomba leaves Levadia, set to sign for Cypriot club

FCI Levadia have confirmed, that after two and a half seasons, Malian center back Bourama Fomba will leave the club, and will seek new opportunities abroad.

Fomba arrived in Levadia in the summer of 2022, having previously played for Romanian, Ukrainian and Belarussian clubs. He won the Estonian championship and the Estonian cup during his time in Levadia. In the Premium Liiga, the 25-year old reached 68 games, scoring 13 goals.

“I thank you for these years spent together, your warm reception and professionalism. The cooperation with you has been an enriching experience and i have learned a lot by your sides. I will cherish these memories of our teamwork and getting along, which i had with every single one of you. I express gratitude to everyone, who supported me on and off the pitch. I wish you the best of luck for the upcoming season and good luck, guys!” Fomba said via Levadia’s press release.

According to rumors on social media, Fomba will be signing for Aradippo Omonia, who recently got promoted to the Cypriot top flight and are currently in the bottom half of the table.
