Lithuanian A Lyga side FK Banga Gargždai has announced that they have not renewed the contract with the Ukrainian defender Kostyantyn Shults.

The 31-year-old left-back joined Banga in the summer of 2023. Shults has been playing in Lithuania since 2017, having notably represented FK Atlantas and spending a season with FC Džiugas Telšiai in 2022. Last season, he made 32 appearances in the A Lyga for Banga, scoring one goal and providing three assists.

Kostyantyn played a role in helping Banga secure their first major Lithuanian silverware by winning the Lithuanian Cup last season. In the final, he entered the match as a substitute in the 85th minute, and Banga triumphed after a penalty shootout against FC Hegelmann.

A product of the Chornomorets Odesa Academy, Shults made a total of 55 appearances across all competitions during his time with Banga.
