FK Grobiņa has announced the additions of experienced central midfielder Gļebs Kļuškins and versatile winger Oļģerts Raščevskis to their squad.

The 32-year-old Kļuškins joins from FS Jelgava, where he made 30 appearances in the Latvian Virslīga last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists. With 19 caps for the Latvian national team and an impressive 219 matches in the Virslīga, Kļuškins brings a wealth of experience to the Grobiņa midfield.

Raščevskis, who played for BFC Daugavpils last season on loan from Valmiera FC, also joins Grobiņa. The former Latvian U21 international featured in 29 matches last year, contributing two goals and one assist. Notably, Raščevskis showcased his versatility by playing in both defensive and midfield roles, operating as a left-back, right-back, and on both wings.

Yesterday, FK Grobiņa played a friendly match against Lithuanian side FK Banga, narrowly losing 0–1. Neither Kļuškins nor Raščevskis participated in the game, likely as the team continues to integrate the new signings into their system.
