Pre-season friendlies have started for Estonian clubs, with Paide Linnameeskond and Tallinna Kalev both losing 0-2 to Finnish clubs.

Paide faced off against last season’s fourth finishing club in the top flight, SJK Seinäjoki, losing 2-0. Both goals were scored by Kasper Paananen toward the end of the first half, with both teams substituting most of their teams at half time.

JK Tallinna Kalev played against last season’s sixth finishing team in Finnish second division, Pallokerho 35, losing 2-0 from two penalties, coming in seperate halves. Kalev’s team featured two Canadian trialists in Zachary Sukunda and Habib Famuditimi.

Elsewhere, Nõmme Kalju and Harju JK Laagri played out a 0-0 draw, with Kalju having a former FK Liepaja player Ediae Precious on trial. The 23-year old Nigerian never recorded an official appearance for Liepaja, due to an ACL injury during pre-season.
