Today, Visakha FC achieved another victory in the Cambodian Premier League (CPL). The team, which includes four Latvians—manager Jurģis Kalns, assistant coach Renārs Rode, and players Vitālijs Jagodinskis and Artūrs Karašausks—defeated Angkor Tiger 2-0 away.

Vitalijs Jagodinskis played the entire match, marking his 15th league appearance for Visakha. Artūrs Karašauskas, the newest addition to Visakha, was not included in the squad for this match and he will have to wait for the next game to make his debut.

Visakha currently sit third in the league table with 35 points after 16 games. Cambodian Premier League operates in two states and there are four matches remaining in the season’s first stage. Following this stage, the teams will be divided into two groups: the top six and the bottom five.

In other news, Raimonds Krollis returned to the squad after not being called up in the previous game. His team, Triestina, won 2-0 against Caldiero Terme in the Italian Serie C. Krollis was an unused substitute.

According to Italian media reports, Triestina intend to terminate their loan agreement with Krollis, who is expected to return to Spezia. Given his prior history with Spezia, it remains unclear where the former Virslīga top goalscorer will play in the second half of the season.
