Seven players sign new deals for Harju

Premium Liiga newcomers Harju JK Laagri have announced the contract extensions of seven players ahead of their return to the top flight.

Harju JK Laagri announced on social media, that they are glad to extend their contracts with Reinhard Reimaa, Karel Eerme, Andreas Kaevats, Andres Järve, Kirill Aleksandr Antonov, Jako Kariste and Marten Henrik Kelement for the new season.

Reimaa joined Harju ahead of the 2023 season from JK Tallinna Kalev. The 26-year old midfielder has played 139 games in the top flight, scoring 7 goals.

20-year old Eerme is a Harju academy graduate, who has made 26 appearances in the top-flight, scoring three goals and assisting one. The forward was a big part of Harju’s return to the top flight, scoring 32 goals and assisting 2 in 31 appearances.

20-year old Kaevats is also an academy graduate for Harju, who played in 35 games last season, scoring 4 goals and assisting 5. He is yet to make an appearance in the Premium Liiga.

22-year old club captain Andres Järve joined the club ahead of the 2023 season from FCI Levadia Tallinn. Last season he played in 38 games for the club across all competitions, scoring a single goal. The center back has recorded 34 games in the Premium Liiga.

21-year old academy graduate Antonov joined the club in 2022 from Nõmme United. Yet to feature in the Premium Liiga, Antonov has played 93 games for Harju’s senior side, scoring 12 goals.

25-year old Kariste joined Harju in 2022 from Läänemaa JK, playing in 27 games in the top flight, with last season’s stats totaling up to 27 appearances and 2 goals.

21-year old Kelement joined the Laagri based side ahead of the 2024 season from Paide’s U21’s side, playing in 38 games across all competitions for them last season, scoring seven and assisting three goals. The midfielder has three Premium Liiga appearances.

Club CEO Kalmar Liiv told the press release:

“All these players have Harju DNA pouring out of them. Their contribution was very big in winning the Esiliiga title. We are glad to have signed new 2-year contracts with them, with which we could keep a big part of the “core” of our team.”
