Žalgiris Kaunas Football Club is set to kick off preparations for the 2025 season on January 13. This morning, the club announced their third new signing of the off-season: 21-year-old Ernestas Burdzilauskas.
The player from Marijampolė has represented FK Sūduva since 2020 and won the LFF Super Cup in 2022. In 2024, E.Burdzilauskas was one of the key players of Sūduva, as he scored 2 goals and delivered 4 assists in 36 matches in A lyga. The midfielder was also called up to the Lithuanian U-21 national team last year.
As mentionned before, Žalgiris Kaunas signed their third player for the 2025 season, the first ones being FK Panevėžys winger Amine Benchaib and goalkeeper Tomas Švedkauskas.
