Agris Glaudāns joins SK Super Nova, two defenders stay

SK Super Nova has strengthened its squad for the 2025 Virslīga season with the signing of 22-year-old left-back Agris Glaudāns. The Latvian defender arrives from FS Jelgava after their relegation from the Virslīga.

Glaudāns played a key role for FS Jelgava, making 34 appearances in the 2024 season. Known for his adaptability, he contributed two goals and two assists while featuring in multiple defensive and midfield positions. Despite Jelgava’s struggles, Glaudāns was one of the players that stood out with his consistent performances and has earned this move to continue competing at the top level in Latvia.

SK Super Nova has confirmed that Rūdolfs Zeņģis and Dāvis Vējkrīgers will remain with the club for the 2025 season. Both players were instrumental in helping the team secure promotion back to the Virslīga.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old center-back Dāvis Vējkrīgers also impressed during the 2024 season, making 26 appearances and scoring one goal.
