Dainava say goodbye to six players at once

DFK Dainava announced that they will not be continuing their relationship with six players for the 2025 season.

The wholesale departure was announced by the club on their social media, thanking the six for their contributions to the club. The six players who will not continue with the side from the southern Lithuanian city of Alytas are:

Glib Grachov, a 27 year old Ukrainian centre back, made 17 appearances in A Lyga last season and one in the Lithuanian Cup, scoring no goal and earning 5 yellow cards. Former FK Liepāja defender joined Dainava at the start of the 2024 season.

Lamin Jawara, a 22 year old Gambian centre back, made only 5 A Lyga appearances, scoring no goals and getting booked once. Lamin joined the club as free agent at the start of 2024 season, having previously been released by the Danish top tier side Viborg FF.

Andrija Krivokapič, a 23 year old Montenegrin left back, made 15 A Lyga appearances and one in Lithuanian Cup, scoring no goals but getting booked 4 times in the league and once in the cup. He also joined at the start of 2024 season, coming over from Džiugas Telšiai.

Aaron Olugbogi, a 23 year old Nigerian midfielder, made 34 appearances in A Lyga, scoring once, assisting six times and getting sent off twice. He joined Dainava in the summer of 2022 from Glacis United in the Gibraltar.

Chibuike Nwosu, also a 23 year old Nigerian midfielder, also made 34 appearances in A Lyga, scoring 3 goals, making a single assist and getting booked 7 times. He joined Dainava together with Olugbogi, both coming over from Glacis United.

Rokas Stanulevičius, a 30 year old Lithuanian defensive midfielder, made 22 A Lyga appearances and 1 Lithuanian Cup appearance. Rokas came over from the Irish 2nd tier side Cork City at the start of 2024 season.
