Estonian champions Levadia have completed the signing of Brazilian winger Geovani, with the 25-year-old joining the club on a two-and-a-half-year contract after becoming a free agent earlier this summer.

Geovani began his career in Brazil with Barcelona Esportiva Capela before moving to Portugal in 2019 to join the academy of Primeira Liga side Famalicao. Although he made only two senior league appearances for the club, one of those came against Portuguese giants Porto.

Unable to establish himself in Famalicao’s first team, the winger later spent a season with Vitoria Guimarães B in Portugal’s third tier before continuing his career in Ukraine with Oleksandriya. Across two seasons in the Ukrainian Premier League, he made 34 appearances and scored two goals.

In 2025, Geovani moved to South Korea, signing for K League 1 side Daegu. He featured in 13 top-flight matches and scored twice, although his opportunities became increasingly limited. During the current calendar year, he made just one appearance, playing three minutes for Daegu in the K League 2 before leaving the club as a free agent in July.

Levadia have now secured his signature as part of their push for the remainder of the season. Geovani becomes the club’s third – and, according to Levadia, final – summer signing, following the arrivals of midfielder Mollo Bessala and Georgian striker Nikoloz Kutateladze, who scored his first Premium Liiga goal in the last match.
