A Lithuanian officiating team has been appointed for Hearts’ UEFA Conference League play-off first leg against Rapid Vienna in Edinburgh on Thursday, 20 August.

Manfredas Lukjančukas will take charge at Tynecastle Park, with Mangirdas Mirauskas and Aleksandras Stepanovas named as assistant referees and Vilius Paulauskas as fourth official. Donatas Šimėnas will serve as assistant VAR.

Kick-off is scheduled for 21:45 Lithuanian time.

Hearts began their European campaign in the Champions League second qualifying round but lost 6-0 on aggregate to Sturm Graz. They then dropped into the Europa League third qualifying round, where they were beaten 7-2 on aggregate by Benfica.

Rapid entered in the Conference League second qualifying round, defeating Montenegro’s Dečič 6-2 on aggregate, before eliminating Dundee United on penalties after the two legs finished level at 4-4.

The winners of the tie will reach the Conference League league phase, with the losing side eliminated from European competition.
