Tallinn side Legion walked off the pitch in the second half of their Esiliiga B match against Tammeka II, forcing the 23rd-round fixture to be abandoned.
Legion, coached by Mihhail Artjuhhov, stopped playing in the 68th minute and left the field in a calm manner, signalling they would not continue. The walk-out was triggered by an, allegedly, questionable red card.
The Estonian FA said it has opened disciplinary proceedings to establish the circumstances. It will take reports from the match inspector and the parties involved, and will also use video footage to assess the incident, with further updates promised at the earliest opportunity.
Tammeka’s reserve side are second in the Esiliiga B table, while Legion sit bottom. The teams had met twice earlier this season, with Tammeka winning 2-1 before a 12-0 victory in the second meeting.
