Premium Liiga leaders Levadia have added Georgian centre-forward Nikoloz Kutateladze to their squad, continuing a busy spell of recruitment in the forward line.
Kutateladze, 25, arrives after Levadia announced the return of Cameroon striker Mollo Bessala on Sunday. The new signing will wear the number nine shirt.
Kutateladze spent time in the academies of Lille and Paris Saint-Germain and has played in russia’s top flight, featuring 21 times and scoring twice. His most recent appearance in the russian Premier League came for Pari Nizhny Novgorod in August 2024, and he has also represented Spartak Moscow’s reserve side in the second tier.
This year he has been with Georgian top-flight leaders Rustavi and says the move to Estonia is an important step.
“FCI Levadia are a champion team with a winning mentality and I’m very happy to join this club,” Kutateladze said. “I believe it is a great step for me and my career.
“Our goal is to become champions and I will work hard every day to help the team reach that objective. I’m really looking forward to meeting the fans, playing in front of them and celebrating many wins together.”
Levadia’s sporting department said Kutateladze brings experience and ambition, and believes his profile will give the coaching staff more options on and off the pitch.
