Brazilian Fellipe Vieira completes move from Liepāja to Karpaty Lviv

Latvian Virslīga side FK Liepāja have completed the sale of attacking midfielder Fellipe Vieira to Ukrainian Premier League club Karpaty Lviv. According to information Baltic Football News information, the transfer fee is believed to be in the region of €500,000.

The 21-year-old Brazilian arrived in Liepāja ahead of the 2026 season and quickly established himself as one of the club’s standout performers. In 20 Virslīga appearances, Vieira registered six goals and two assists, while also playing a key role in Liepāja’s successful UEFA Conference League first qualifying round tie against Montenegrin side Dečic. The Brazilian found the net in the away leg as the Latvian club advanced to the second qualifying round.

Karpaty Lviv have confirmed that Vieira has signed a long-term contract running for four years, with an option to extend the deal by an additional season.

Before moving to Latvia, Vieira spent two and a half seasons with Slovak side STK Šamorin, having previously developed through the academy of Brazilian club Vila Nova before making the move to European football.

Karpaty Lviv finished ninth in the 2025/26 Ukrainian Premier League season, collecting 41 points from 30 matches.
