The Lithuanian men’s national team has officially confirmed the first of its two scheduled international friendlies for 2026, with Andorra set to visit Kaunas this September.

Lithuania will host Andorra on September 30 at 19:00 at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium. The fixture will serve as the first of two friendly matches planned for this year, with the second expected to take place in November.

Ticket sales for the Andorra match, as well as Lithuania’s home UEFA Nations League fixtures, are set to begin soon. Fans will be able to take advantage of special promotions, with discounted prices available for those purchasing tickets to two or three matches at the same time.

Lithuania and Andorra have met twice before, both in friendly encounters. Their first meeting came in 1998, when Lithuania claimed a convincing 4-0 victory. The sides met again in 2009, with Lithuania once again coming out on top, this time winning 3-1.

Andorra are currently ranked 172nd in the FIFA World Rankings and have been coached by former long-serving national team goalkeeper Koldo Álvarez since 2010.

Like Lithuania, Andorra will also compete in the UEFA Nations League D this autumn. They have been drawn into a group alongside Malta and Gibraltar, while Lithuania will face Azerbaijan and Liechtenstein in their Nations League campaign.
