MFA Žalgiris-MRU will round off their first set of fixtures in the Women’s A Lyga on Monday when they host Banga in round 14.

The Vilnius side won the clubs’ first meeting this season 3-0 in Gargždai, with Olamide Sandra Adugbe scoring twice and Goda Smailytė also on target. MFA Žalgiris-MRU also won all four encounters with Banga last season, including a 4-0 away victory in the final meeting on 21 September 2025.

Banga finished bottom of the six-team league last year with three wins from 20 matches and nine points. This season they sit fifth on nine points after 11 games (W2 D3 L6) and have the division’s lowest scoring record, with six goals scored; half of them by Ghanaian forward Ernestina Ayissie.

MFA Žalgiris-MRU have scored 26 league goals so far, with Adugbe responsible for 15. The Nigerian striker did not score in the latest outing, a 1-1 draw in a Vilnius derby against FK Žalgiris, while Banga’s most recent match ended in a 6-0 defeat by Gintra.
