After almost a year in Estonia, Nõmme Kalju‘s 28 year old goalkeeper’s coach Ville Hulkkonen is heading back north to join the academy staff of Norwegian Eliteserien side Tromsö IL.

Robin Bergfald, head of the Tromsö IL Youth, explained that the young Finnish specialist was selected for the job following a competitive interview process, edging out many other strong candidates.

On their social media Kalju thanked the coach for his contributions, wishing him good luck at this next step in his career:

Thank you, Ville, for your time at Kalju. We’ll miss your energy and those slide tackles on concrete floors! We’re proud of your growth as a coach and glad that your journey began in Nõmme. Keep up the great work, and don’t let the polar bears get you in Norway!
