Flora Tallinn kicked off the Matchday 10 of the Premium Liiga season in emphatic fashion, dismantling Harju JK Laagri 5-0 at A. Le Coq Arena to avenge their shock defeat from just over a month ago.

Back on natural grass for the first time this season, Flora wasted no time asserting control. Just five minutes in, Vladislav Kreida opened the scoring with a stunning direct free kick, curling the ball into the top corner to set the tone for the evening. While Harju showed brief signs of resistance – most notably when Daniil Rudenko struck the post – the early stages ultimately belonged to the home side.

Flora’s efficiency in front of goal proved decisive. In the 18th minute, Rauno Sappinen doubled the lead after a slick attacking move, finishing calmly from close range. Two minutes later, Remo Valdmets made it 3-0, rising unmarked to head home from a corner. Despite the scoreline, the match itself wasn’t entirely one-sided, but Flora’s clinical edge made all the difference.

The first half rout was completed just before the break when Sergei Zenjov reacted quickest in the box following another set piece, tapping in to give Flora a commanding 4-0 advantage at halftime.

The second half saw a drop in tempo, typical of a first match on grass, but Flora remained firmly in control. Substitute Taaniel Usta made an immediate impact, converting from close range after excellent work down the flank to extend the lead to 5-0. 18-year-old Sander Alamaa was instrumental throughout, registering a hat-trick of assists in a standout performance.

Harju struggled to create anything meaningful after the break, while Flora continued to threaten. Sappinen hit the crossbar late on and also had another goal ruled out for offside, underlining the hosts’ dominance.

In the end, it was a statement victory from Flora, who not only secured three points but also delivered a powerful response to their earlier defeat.

After this win, Flora now leapfrogs the Harju, as well as Paide Linnameeskond in the table and now are sitting third in the table with 19 points, just two points behind league leaders Levadia, who will play their Matchday 10 match on Saturday when they will host Kuressaare.

Meanwhile now Flora turn their attention to Estonian Cup semifinal. Next Tuesday they will host JK Narva Trans for the rights to play in the final.

Flora Tallinn vs Harju JK Laagri – 5-0 (4-0)
