Liepāja sign Brazilian attacking-midfielder Vieira

Virslīga club FK Liepāja have strengthened their squad with the signing of Brazilian attacking midfielder Fellipe Vieira, his former Slovak club has confirmed.

The 20-year-old spent the last two seasons in Slovakia with STK Šamorín, who compete in the country’s second tier. During the current campaign, Vieira made 17 league appearances, scoring three goals and providing five assists.

Across his time with Šamorín, the Brazilian midfielder featured in a total of 57 matches, registering 10 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.

Before moving to Europe, Vieira developed in the youth academy of Brazilian club Vila Nova. He has now signed a three-year contract with FK Liepāja as he continues his career in Latvian football.
