Riga sign Gambian striker Badamosi

Virslīga champions Riga FC have completed the signing of Gambia international striker Mohamed Badamosi.

The 27-year-old, who stands 1.96m tall, arrives with experience across Morocco, Belgium, Serbia, Saudi Arabia and Romania. Riga described the deal as adding a proven centre-forward to their attacking options.

Badamosi began his senior career outside Gambia with FUS Rabat, before spells at Kortrijk and Čukarički. He has also featured in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Hazem and had loan stints at Standard Liège and Abha, then joined Romanian side CFR Cluj in 2025.

Since moving to Cluj the Gambian striker made 10 appearances for the club, scoring two goals.

On the international stage, Badamosi has scored four goals in 25 appearances for Gambia.
