Estonian midfielder Georgi Tunjov has changed clubs once again in Italy, moving from Ospitaletto to fellow Serie C side Pro Patria.

The transfer was first reported by Notiziario del Calcio and later confirmed by Pro Patria, who announced Tunjov as their third signing of the winter transfer window, following the arrivals of Pogliano and Desogus. The 24-year-old Estonia international joins on a permanent deal and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2026. He will wear the number 17 shirt.

Tunjov made his Premium Liiga debut at the age of 15 before moving to Italy in spring 2018, joining SPAL’s academy from Narva Trans. He reached SPAL’s first team within a year and debuted in Serie A in December 2019, going on to make ten top-flight appearances. He made his Estonia senior debut in September 2020 against Georgia, earning 16 caps since, playing last in a European qualifiers against Sweden in 2023 under Thomas Häberli.

The most productive period of his club career came with Pescara in the 2023–24 season, when he scored seven goals in 29 appearances, his best return in front of goal. Last season, he split time between Pescara and Pineto in Serie C before remaining without a club until October, when he signed for Ospitaletto. There, he made 11 appearances across league and cup competitions.

Pro Patria, based in Busto Arsizio, are currently struggling near the bottom of their Serie C group, and the club has described Tunjov’s arrival as a midfield reinforcement intended to bring experience and technical quality to a team in need of momentum.
