Lithuania are looking to survive in Group C2 of the Nations League with only two games left to play.
Having been promoted to League C after the last iteration of the Nations League, Lithuania are looking extremely vulnerable having earned no points from the previous 4 games. Not all is lost, however, as the team above them – Cyprus – is only three points away and Lithuania will have a chance to equal them already on November 15th. This game will be followed by the final match against second place Kosovo on November 18th. Both games are going to be away.
Lithuanian team coach Edgaras Jankauskas will benefit from the return of Matas Vareika (FC Hegelmann) and Edgaras Utkus (Cercle Brugge) as well as FK Žalgiris striker Romualdas Jansonas, who gets his first ever call up and will be looking to make a difference in a successful debut.
