FC Flora have signed 16-year-old twin sisters Anastasija and Jelizaveta Južaninova, who previously played for Tallinna FC Ararati in the women’s Meistriliiga.
Midfielder Anastasija and centre-back Jelizaveta featured for Ararati over the past two seasons. In 2024, Jelizaveta played 21 league games and scored twice, while Anastasija made 20 appearances and scored six. Ararati’s 2025 campaign ended early, with Jelizaveta playing 13 matches and Anastasija 14, scoring once, before both began training with Flora.
The sisters have also represented Estonia at youth level, with appearances for the U17 and U15 teams.
Anastasija said she settled quickly into the squad, adding that the initial month was about adapting to the training load before focusing fully on the new season. Jelizaveta described a professional environment and said she aims to earn her place in the team while continuing to develop.
