Latvian Virslīga side FK Grobiņa have announced their first signing of the offseason, securing the services of 19-year-old Nigerian midfielder Oladotun Olatunde-Matthew.
The defensive midfielder spent last season with Moldovan top-flight side Milsami, where he made 20 appearances in what was his first professional season, scoring two goals. Prior to his move to Moldova, Olatunde-Matthews also gained experience with a club in Georgia’s lower leagues.
FK Grobiņa, which retained their place in the 2026 Virslīga season after defeating JDFS Alberts in the relegation play-offs last year, yesterday also confirmed that midfielders Gļebs Kļuškins and Maksims Fjodorovs, along with Lithuanian defender Rolandas Baravykas, will remain with the team for the upcoming campaign.
