A series of changes were made to the Estonian men’s national team squad ahead of the upcoming matches against Norway and Cyprus. Midfielder Mattias Käit will miss out due to injury, and head coach Jürgen Henn has called up Markus Poom of Tallinna FC Flora to take his place. Käit sustained an injury on Saturday when his home club FC Thun defeated Servette FC in the Swiss top division; he has been diagnosed with a broken toe.

In Sunday’s Belgian Pro League fixture, Maksim Paskotši injured his ankle and will also miss the November internationals. It had earlier been announced that Joonas Tamm will not join the squad due to injury, and Matvei Igonen has stayed home for personal reasons.

The squad will assemble today, with the first match of the double-header coming in Oslo against Norway national football team in the World Cup qualifiers just three days later. On 18 November the team heads to Limassol for a friendly against Cyprus national football team. Both games will be broadcast live on ETV2.
