Nations League is back and Estonia will face Azerbaijan and Slovakia as they continue to fight for survival in League C.
Compared to the October call-up, Pikk, Käit and Erik Sorga are missing from Henn’s squad. Pikk also missed both games in October due to injury. Joseph Saliste, the left defender of Paide, is called up in his place. Saliste has three caps for Estonia, all of them back in 2017. FC Flora winger Daniil Kuraksin earned a promotion from the U21 level, and central midfielder Markus Soomets are also back in the team.
Estonia has so far earned three points in its subgroup in League C, which puts them third in competition with Sweden, Slovakia and Azerbaijan. Sweden and Slovakia each have ten points and Azerbaijan remains in last place with zero points, having lost to everybody.
Both games will be away. First, against Azerbaijan takes place on 16th November at 16:00 Tallinn time and Second, against Slovakia, on 19th November at 21:45.
