Latvian top-flight club FK Liepāja has announced the mutual termination of their contract with Serbian midfielder Stefan Purtic.

The 26-year-old joined the club last summer and went on to make 15 appearances in the Latvian Virslīga, as well as two matches in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers in the 2024 season. In the current season, Purtic featured in another 15 league games, starting in six of them and registering one assist.

Before arriving in Latvia, Purtic spent several seasons in the Serbian SuperLiga, amassing a total of 141 appearances with FK Voždovac, FK Inđija, and Železničar Pančevo. He also had a brief stint in Romania’s top division.

FK Liepāja thanked Purtic for his contributions and wished him success in his future career.
