Estonian Premium Liiga side Harju JK Laagri have announced that they have signed to a 2.5‑year contract Estonian U‑21 international Ramol Sillamaa.

The dynamic 20-year-old winger, who has been playing abroad since 2023, returns to his homeland after a stint in Slovakia. During the back half of last season, Sillamaa featured in nine matches for STK Samorin in the Slovak 2nd division.

Prior to that, he developed within the KAA Gent system—turning out 20 times and scoring once for Jong KAA Gent, the club’s reserve side competing in Belgium’s third tier.

Sillamaa began his professional journey with JK Tallinna Kalev, where he also built his physical and technical foundations over several seasons. He notably contributed to the club’s promotion to Estonia’s top flight in 2022. To date, he has appeared in 45 Premium Liiga matches, notching four goals.

“I am extremely happy and grateful to have the opportunity to join Harju JK! I’m looking forward to everything ahead – new challenges and shared victories with the team.” Sillamaa told in a statement to the club.

While Harju club CEO Kalmar Liiv told in a statement. “We are very pleased with Ramol’s signing — or rather, his second coming — as he spent a season on loan with Harju’s youth squad. Of course, he’s a young and talented Estonian who strengthens our attacking capabilities. We’re confident Ramol will bolster our squad and give us extra gear in the battle for points.”

Sillamaa has represented Estonia at both U‑19 and U‑21 levels and even earned a senior cap in January 2024, when a team featuring domestic stars and lesser‑known legionnaires faced off against Sweden.
