Estonian reigning champions and current Premium Liiga leaders FCI Levadia have added depth to their backline with the signing of 21-year-old Brazilian central defender Kaua Davi.

Levadia describe their latest signing as a highly talented and modern Brazilian footballer, praised for his excellent game reading, strong pace, and the technical finesse typically associated with Brazilian players. While primarily a centre-back, Kaua Davi is also capable of playing at right-back.

Kaua Davi joins Levadia from Esporte Clube Bahia, a club currently sitting fifth in Brazil’s top-tier league. Although he has made 11 appearances for Bahia’s senior team, he has not featured in any Brazilian Serie A matches. He was more active with the club’s B team, where he played 23 matches and scored twice.

“I’m very happy to be part of this great club, which fights for titles every year and is always at the top. I will give everything on the field and show everyone my talent,” Kaua Davi said in his first interview as a Levadia player.

Club president Viktor Levada also expressed his excitement:
We are pleased to announce our newest Brazilian addition! Our experience with Brazilian players has been very positive so far, and we aim to continue down this path. Kaua is a fantastic addition to both our squad and the club as a whole. There’s no doubt he will have a positive impact and help us achieve our biggest dreams.”

Levadia’s next challenge comes on July 15th, when they travel to face Latvian champions FC RFS in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round, trailing 0–1 from the first leg at home.
