Paide Linnameeskond, currently sitting third in the Estonian Premium Liiga, has officially parted ways with Senegalese striker Mechini Gomis by mutual agreement.
The 23-year-old Gomis first joined Paide and made his Premium Liiga debut back in 2022. However, his time with the club included a loan spell in Qatar, where he spent one season away from Estonian football. During his tenure with Paide, Gomis featured in 47 top-flight matches and found the back of the net 10 times.
The 2025 season proved more challenging for the forward. Gomis struggled to make an impact in the current campaign, failing to score in nine league appearances and earning just a single start in the top division.
