Lithuanian A Lyga side DFK Dainava Alytus has announced the departure of several players as of June 30, following the expiration of their contracts. Among the names leaving, the most significant loss is that of Bosnian striker Davor Rakić.

Rakić, 20, had been with Dainava since 2023 and made a solid impact during his time at the club. This season, he featured in 13 league matches, scoring four goals — including one in his final appearance just two days ago, helping Dainava to a 2–0 win over FK Riteriai.

In total, Rakić made 57 appearances for Dainava, finding the net 11 times. His departure leaves a noticeable gap in the team’s attacking line heading into the second half of the season.

Also exiting the club is 27-year-old Japanese attacking midfielder Takumi Hiruma. He joined Dainava ahead of the current campaign from Lithuanian second-tier side FK Atmosfera. However, Hiruma struggled to make his mark in the top division, going goalless and without assists in 10 appearances.

Local midfielder Dominyk Kodz, 25, is also moving on. After a season abroad in the lower leagues of Poland, Kodz returned to Lithuania and signed with Dainava earlier this year. Yet, like Hiruma, his impact was limited — 13 league appearances yielded no goal contributions.
