Pärnu JK Vaprus have announced, that they have bought the player rights for attacking midfielder Tristan Pajo from FC Flora, after the 20-year old spent the prior 1.5 years on loan, signing a three-year contract with the summer capital club.
For Pärnu JK Vaprus, purchasing a player is a first for the club, as club sporting director Karl Palatu said: “Obviously we have paid the required fees for youth players, but yes – in the previous years, the players who have joined us, have been free agents. We also see it as an investment into the future, which will hopefully benefit the club.”
The young playmaker recorded 2860 minutes in 35 games for the club last season, finding the net on 8 occasions and assisting another 8.
“I have already played for Vaprus for 1.5 years and I feel, that I am an important link in the squad and I am trusted here. We have gotten better as a team, step-by-step, and for next year, the club has new and even bigger plans, of which I want to be a part of.” Pajo stated.
Palatu also added: “Continuing with Tristan is very important in assembling the team, because in these 1.5 years in Vaprus, he has proved himself as one of the league’s best playmakers. I believe, that with hard work and after gaining experience, he can realize his potential even better. I’m wishing Tristan a successful season and I hope, that both personal and team successes will gift joy to our fans.”
