Latvian international Lūkass Vapne played the entire match for the third consecutive game as his team Sogndal drew 2–2 with Raufoss in the ninth round of Norway’s OBOS-ligaen.

The 21-year-old midfielder’s team entered the game on the back of two straight wins and stood second in the league table. Raufoss, who had not lost in their previous three games, were the visitors.

Sogndal took the lead just before halftime thanks to a goal from Swedish striker Oliver Hintsa. However, Raufoss scored twice within four minutes in the second half to take the lead, but Sogndal managed to equalize eight minutes later. Neither side scored afterward, and the match ended in a draw.

This was Vapne’s ninth appearance of the season, and he has scored once so far. Sogndal currently sits third in the league with 16 points from nine matches as the season heads into the international break.
